Comics have always intrigued me, but it seems that they only have two types: Rated PG13 or Rated XXX! There seems to be very little middle ground. It seems that if a comic artist is not writting about a superhero that doesn't shed any blood, then he's writting adult fantasies. I'd like to see more magazines that go between the PG-13 to the Rated-R. I think maybe Todd McFarlene is amongst the few. But I'd like to see sci-fi, fantasy and horror get addressed. So I've included a few pics of some of the magazines that I hope to get out some day.
I can say now, after working on a few projects that I truly respect comic artists for what they must go through. Where one page actually contains many drawings and at several envisioned angles, it has proven to be a rather testy challenge for me. So I take off my hat to all those who make a career in this field. |
